About Pulsifer Hampton

The design of the Pulsifer Hampton is based on the Casco Bay Hampton, a lobster boat built by Charlie Gomes from 1902 through the 1950s. Charlie Gomes' Hamptons were work boats. Designed first and foremost for function– to be used, to work hard, and to endure– the same qualities I have vested in the Pulsifer Hamptons I build today.

When you come into my shop, there’s no salesman between you and the boat.
You will be able to see, smell, and feel the raw materials that I use to build the wooden boats for a
lifetime of pleasure and service for you and your family.
