About Rumery's Boat Yard

Rumery's builds the Alerion daysailer, 26 feet long, the pride of her designer, N.G. Herreshoff. Rumery's Alerion is faithful to the original 1912 design. We invite you to see for yourself.

The Rumery's 38 is inspired by the Jonesport designs of the 1920s and 30s. Soon to feature a HYBRID diesel-electric propulsion system. Deck and interior layout will meet your custom specifications.

The yard specializes in restoration and refit of wooden and fiberglass boats to 55 feet.

Visit us in person, if you can. Rumery's is one of the last downtown boat yards, situated within walking distance of the City's center. Winter storage has never been more easy: Amtrak's DOWNEASTER stops in Saco, within view of the Yard: boat owners may now travel from New York and Boston by train to take delivery of their boat in the spring.
