The PYY 22 embodies the qualities of workmanship and sea-keeping ability that Maine-built boats have come to demonstrate with an emphasis on custom design work for the discriminating buyer who wants more than a production boat.

Kittery Point Boatbuilders, LLC, builds a proprietary line of 22’ boats that can be finished off for a variety of uses. Primary lines include the center console sport fishing model and the cuddy cabin model that features 2 7’ berths and a head. These hulls are built for room and the diverse conditions of the Northeast. All models have I/O, jet or outboard power options up to 250hp. With a standard full 105 gallon tank, a 150hp motor will support +40mph cruising speeds. High density foam cored heavy fiberglass construction provides a solid platform in all conditions. The PYY22 was designed to be a new breed of trailer-able Maine-built boats that provide superior high speed performance without compromising space, comfort and a dry ride.

The PYY 22 was designed by George A. Patten, designer and builder of fine vessels from 8’ to 50’ over the past 40years. Three years of design and testing was invested in achieving the PYY 22 performance objectives.

Kittery Point Boatbuilders is affiliated with Kittery Point Yacht Yard Corp. (KPYY). KPYY’s year round crew has over 250 years of boat building, marine fabrication, and repair experience. We are also custom builders of wooden boats and in finishing off any fiberglass hull up to 50 feet.
