Hewes & Company offers this same attention to detail and finishing to the marine industry. From their state of the art 20,000 sq ft facility in Blue Hill, they entwine quality craftsmanship, sustainable materials, and the latest technologies to provide superior products to the trade. The well-equipped shop can accurately reproduce the complex shapes associated with everything from small boat kits to cruising yachts. In addition, Hewes & Company offers a positive pressure spray booth for varnishing of marine products.
Services for the marine trades include CNC machining of a variety of products, from fiddle rails and outside corners to bulkheads and ribs: complete unit assemblies custom designed to precisely fit and drop in any boat; Corian countertops and shower enclosures; custom teak handrails, doors and jambs; sheathing, teak decking and cabin soles. Hewes & Company is also proud to be the Marinedeck Distributor for New England and Atlantic Canada and can custom fabricate this premium cork decking material with any detailing the customer specifies.
